JIN

No clue why i'm so damn into this one. Jin stars Jin, a 20th century neurosurgeon transported to edo period Japan. I feel like it's a rather grounded story for a medical drama. I mean, some parts are a little House M.D, but they're definitely operating in some limits; Like Penicillin production being so primitive and limited. The reoccuring joke where Jin does CPR and everyone freaks the fuck out kills me every time. I haven't finished this one yet, but It's a good read so far. I got up to the prison part; The rest is on the creator's patreon.

MEZOLITH

I've already said before I enjoy prehistoric fantasy, so it's obvious I'd be raving about Mezolith. It follows the life of a young man named Poika and the stories and traditions surrounding their tribe. I enjoyed the blending of real and fantasy so much. it's done beautifully in this book, having the oral traditions be such a key part of the story really reflected on the importance of this kinda thing in early society. Great book 100%.
