These are just a bunch of DOOM WADS i've played / watched. I don't play much DOOM anymore tbh.

GREZZO / GREZZODUE

Fuck, I loved this wad as a kid. It's so goddamn stupid. Of course, I didn't understand any of it because its a critique on Italian culture and politics, but I loved how fucking stupid it is.

Grezzo was a wad where they just threw whatever the fuck into it. It's just a mish of a bunch of different assets, thrown together to tell some semblance of a story, which is just fuck the church and fuck italians. crush your balls with a hammer.
I can't remember whose channel I watched it on. Vinesauce has an OLD OLD reupload of Grezzo somewhere.

ROOTPAIN / ROOTBAIN

I swear to god this wad was called ROOTBAIN, since that's an anagram for abortion, but I digress.
This is just an art project. The root of all evil is being born, so abort yourself. You have to go godmode to kill the uberfetus, though.

I heard rootbain 2 is much better, so when I experience that i'll comment on it.

Hotel: Lost Contact

Probably one of the only WADS to actually scare me.

Hotels are an awesome setpiece for horror because they are just so... Nothing. It's a space you are not meant to inhabit for a long time. It's like hallways; You're not actually supposed to think about whats in them, just go through it. When you are trapped in this space you are not supposed to hang around in, it's uneasy. Something, something, so liminal.
Also the building just keeps going. it's non-euclidean in its design, just stretching on and on. That's a fear of mine, places with no exits. Places that just keep you in them and never let you out. it was fucking uneasy finding these hallways that just looked out of place, like they've just spawned.

And the stupid fast enemies scared the actual shit out of me. The bloodcrawlers were so fucked up. The rest were pretty plain. Humans and spiders n maggots n stuff.
it's a good for a WAD. President evil ass WAD.
