SIRALIM: ULTIMATE

I fell deeply in love with this game. It's a creature collector with thousands of hours of gameplay. I have about 60 hours in and I had just finished the "tutorial". It's one of the better creature capture games i've played. The monster designs are unique, scary, grungy, and anything else. There's over 1000 creatures in this damn game. I've seen that creature games fall way into pokemon's cutesy round aesthetic when making their monsters. It's honestly boring, so seeing some real nasties in this game was a breath of fresh air. I also like the little lore bits that come with every creature. Fun to read. My favorite designs so far are the dead baby carrying spectres and pit wraiths.

The combat is nothing new, but the traits system is so fun to experiment with; That's the main draw of the game. You build your entire team around crazy combos that will take down enemies thousands of levels above you. It sounds like grinding isn't necessary, but it definitely is if you're trying to perfect a team. I use the siralim planner when making my stuff. I usually play a buff/debuff team with defiler, my favorite class. You can pull off some crazy ass shenanigans in this game, and it's so fun theorycrafting a team and watching it work. I just wish trait materials weren't so damn hard to find.

There's really NOTHING else to do but dungeon dive in this game. You gather materials, get monsters, go deeper, repeat. I mean, you can decorate your castle or even gamble, but you HAVE to go into the dungeon to be able to do that! I reccommend playing this game in short bursts because it can get so damn repetitive if you don't make your own fun and challenges.

Overall, if you like dungeons and you like creatures I could not recommend this game enough. It's great! Just be prepared for some nasty ass grinding.
