MANIAC COP

What a fucked up lil' movie. It practically has all the same beats as Friday the Thirteenth but if Jason died in a shooting. I think if you like early slashers, you'd like this one. Story-wise, its about what you'd expect. I don't think anyone goes into a slasher movie for the story, though. Kills were a little boring, but the special effects weren't half bad. Loved his billy club sword that was awesome as fuck.

NEVER HIKE ALONE (2017)

I'd feel bad if I said anything negative about this movie cuz I can tell it is a monumental labour of love. You gotta respect the genre love in this one. A fairly good found footage movie as well. Loved how much they played with the camera angles. I could almost never get into found footage because it's probably the most sludge ridden genre of horror; Besides slasher. Can't go wrong with a final boy movie. I know this series has a bunch of sequels, remakes, demakes, etc. (in true slasher franchise fashion), but I think i'm just gonna watch the 2017 one. I'm not a sequels guy. Except Bladerunner.

This movie sucked buttcheek. The sheer amount of books that Jason X has is crazy. Did you know in one they extract his robo sperm to make a fucked up clone? Trash cinema is fucked.
